Legalization of Stay and Work
Comprehensive handling of residence and employment matters in Poland
Temporary and Permanent Residence Permits
A temporary residence permit is the primary document legalizing a foreigner's stay in Poland for a period of 3 months to 3 years. We help prepare and submit applications for temporary residence permits based on employment, studies, family reunification, business activity, and other legal grounds provided for in the Act on Foreigners.
For persons meeting the appropriate conditions, we prepare applications for permanent residence permits and long-term EU resident permits. We handle cases at both the first and second instance -- in the event of a negative decision, we prepare appeals to the Head of the Office for Foreigners.
We monitor the expiration dates of our clients' residence documents and remind them of the need to submit a new application well in advance to avoid gaps in legal residence.
Work Permits
Obtaining a work permit is a key element in legalizing a foreigner's employment in Poland. We help employers and employees prepare applications for type A, B, C, D, and E permits, as well as declarations of entrusting work to a foreigner.
We analyze the foreigner's legal situation and select the optimal path for work legalization. We assist in obtaining the starost's information (labor market test) and prepare documents confirming the employee's qualifications and professional experience.
In the event of a permit refusal, we prepare appeals against administrative decisions, and if necessary -- complaints to voivodeship administrative courts and the Supreme Administrative Court.
EU Blue Card
The EU Blue Card is a special type of residence and work permit designed for highly qualified workers from outside the European Union. A Blue Card holder gains the right to work and reside in Poland, and after a specified period -- the possibility of mobility within the EU.
We help verify whether the candidate meets the conditions for obtaining the Blue Card -- in particular, requirements regarding education, professional experience, and minimum salary. We prepare complete documentation and represent the client at the voivodeship office.
The EU Blue Card offers a number of advantages, including a faster path to permanent residence and facilitated access to the labor market in other member states. We advise on career planning and professional mobility within the European Union.
Polish Card (Karta Polaka)
The Polish Card is a document confirming ties to Polish heritage, issued to citizens of former USSR states. Holding a Polish Card entitles the bearer to a free multiple-entry visa, exemption from the requirement to obtain a work permit, and a facilitated path to obtaining a permanent residence permit and Polish citizenship.
We help with preparation for the consular interview, gathering documents confirming Polish descent, and completing applications. We advise on documenting knowledge of the Polish language, traditions, and culture.
For Polish Card holders, we offer further support in legalizing stay in Poland -- including assistance in obtaining a permanent residence permit through a simplified procedure and submitting an application for Polish citizenship.
Polish Citizenship
Obtaining Polish citizenship is the final stage of the legalization process, granting full civic rights -- including the right to vote, free travel within the EU, and unrestricted access to the labor market. We help choose the optimal path: recognition as a Polish citizen by the voivode or granting of citizenship by the President of Poland.
We prepare complete documentation, including certificates of no criminal record, confirmation of Polish language proficiency at the B1 level, documents confirming a stable source of income, and continuity of legal residence in Poland.
In the event of a negative decision, we prepare appeals to the second-instance authority, as well as complaints to voivodeship administrative courts. We represent clients at every stage of the proceedings -- from submitting the application to obtaining the citizenship grant act.
